Overall an okay apartment, but location terrible

Voordelen: The apartment was clean, the beds were comfortable and the apartment was big enough for 3/4 people.
Nadelen: The beds were pretty small and a number of things were broken or missing (mentioned above). Air conditioning should be present.
Locatie: The location should be mentioned beforehand. It was close to the train rails and pubs. Both have pros and cons. There were enough restaurants nearby.
Overall, our stay at the London Centre Apartments was comfortable. Unfortunately, there were a couple of downsides to our stay. First of all, the location of the apartment. There was a lot of secrecy about the location of the apartment and we did not know where we were going to stay except for the address to the check-in office. Eventually, we arrived at the apartment and it was located directly next to the train and underground rails, which we had no knowledge of. There was no indication of a railway next to our apartment during our check-in. The underground and trail passed by almost every 3 minutes, which meant a lot of noise disturbance. Also, there was no air conditioning in the apartment, which meant that we had to keep all the windows open throughout the evening, which made the noise disturbance even greater. Other than the railway, there also were two pubs next door, where people were drinking outside and causing even more disturbances. On a positive note, because of the rail way next to our apartment, underground and train stations were close by. Inside the apartment, a couple things were missing and broken as well. We did not have a bath plug in the bath, which was the reason why we specifically wanted to rent this apartment because we don't have a bath ourselves. The curtains and some lights were broken, which could easily have been fixed... Nevertheless, the stay was okay for 4 days but we wouldn't have wanted to stay any longer than that.

Prima appartement in een leuke wijk(shoreditch)

Voordelen: Appartement was netjes en prima ingericht. Je bent natuurlijk weinig op je kamer omdat je in de stad bent.
Locatie: De wijk Shoreditch is een up coming wijk met veel leuke restaurantjes en heerlijke koffiebars.
Met de familie een paar dagen Londen gedaan.
Prima ligging,ongeveer 15 minuten naar Liverpool station. Van daaruit kun je alle kanten op met metro,bus of trein.
Vervoer gaat lekker snel,bijna geen wachttijd

Gezellige locatie

Voordelen: Alle voorzieningen waren er, fris en nieuw. Leuke ligging.
Nadelen: Mee handdoeken. 1 pp. Voor 4 nachten is niet fijn, wel een wasmachine maar meer handdoeken een must.
Locatie: Bij Brick lane en metro aldgate East. Vlakbij Tower hill. Midden in de Sunday up markt en tussen de eettentjes.
Het appartement lag midden in een populaire straat met veel eetgelegenheden. Op zondag stapten we zo de Sunday up market in. 5 min van metro aldgate East en het is goed te doen met de metro. Je moet wel tegen geluid kunnen want vooral op zaterdag leeft de straat erg maar dat vonden wij juist gezellig.

Perfect for what we needed
Geplaatst op 25 nov. 2019 op HomeAwayI noticed the 1 star review a week before we were due to arrive, so got me worried. Didn’t notice any of the bad points on the review when we stayed. Yes you couldn’t get out the back door but it was for emergency use only and led to a fire escape (I guess the previous reviewers were smokers and couldn’t be bothered to walk down a flight of stairs). 8 of us stayed, worked well as we had a wedding 15 min walk away. Great location for food and stations/tubes. 3 couples and two lads shared the sofa bed. Only one bathroom but we worked around it. Overall pretty happy with the flat and priced we paid.

Nice enough
Geplaatst op 14 okt. 2019 op HotelsCollection of keys was very straightforward. Although it was noted that there were various properties, would have helped to know in advance exactly where we were staying as we ended up quite far away from the tube station, which was difficult with kids.
Property was modern and reasonably clean. Had a musty smell and all windows had been left opened when we arrived.
Plenty to do around but as I say, not great if you have kids and need to be closer to key transport links.

The table was broken, the dining chairs were broken, there was no key for the back door, the duvets were ripped - overall the apartment was very tired and was not up to the standard expected. As 3 professional people who booked the apartment to attend an exhibition at Excel it really didn't provide the quality and comfort expected considering the price we paid to rent. Pictures are not a true reflection of the actual apartment. Will not be using this apartment again.
