Horrible hotel! Carpet felt DAMP, cigarette burns in chairs, duct tape in tub, woodwork rotting, big gaps around door, burns in blankets, old pillows, wallpaper falling off, gave our original room away even knowing arriving late, hostess old and couldn't credit my card when I checked out EARLY the next morning, had to keep calling for manager. Sch'd 2 bites and barely able to stand 1. Slept in top of bed on a blanket we brought! Horrible experience!!!p

Residential hotel. Nobody ever answered the phone. No working A/C in 80 degree weather. "Non-smoking" rooms had been smoked in, heavily. I left.

This place's first impression is the HUGE craters in the parking lot, suggesting that they have needed repair since the Carter Administration. The amenities have not been updated in at LEAST 20 years, and that's not an exaggeration. A 35 inch tube television that wouldn't sell at a thrift store boasts HBO but does not have it (oddly enough the HBO schedule was present...the most updated thing in the room). The bed was like a trampoline and two of the world's smallest pillows adorned it. The furniture looks like someone came in and chewed on it. The door barely locked. Lastly, the bathroom was so out of date (and duct taped in some places) that I was afraid to use it for fear of breaking a pipe somewhere. The toilet flushed once, but ran non-stop during the entire stay. This place has GOT to be a front for something besides tourist lodging. Very uncomfortable, but strangely truly clean.

Our reservation got messed up and we did not have a room readily available. The hotel staff somewhat quickly got another room available for us. The room was very dirty and very old. All of the furniture was defective in one way or another. There were beer bottle caps and burn marks on the floor and although the room said non-smoking, it smelled like a chain smoker had lived in the room for years (this could have been the case because this hotel had several people living in it as well). It looked like the only capital project done on the hotel since its' completion date was maybe the roof. The door was difficult to lock and the windows did not lock at all because of poor design. My fiance didn't sleep a wink at this hotel and it was not because this was the most uncomfortable bed I'd ever been on in my life. She also feared our room would quickly become like a scene from of Wrong Turn or Hostel due to the environment in this hotel. We had originally booked this hotel for 2 nights, but because of the poor conditions and the fact that the hotel lost our reservation, we decided to only stay one sleepless night.

If I could give my stay a negative rating, I would. Upon arrival at the hotel--which is in the middle of nowhere, I saw a parking lot that looked like the surface of the moon with potholes substituted for craters. I was greeted by a worker in the office who reminded me of the Cryptkeeper. The hotel looks run down and dilapidated to the point that I was given the impression the owners have up long ago with the upkeep. The room was dirty and sparesly furnished. The linens were stained and so worn out that there were holes in them. Sleep was virtually impossible when faced with the idea that you would be slaughtered by Norman and Mother Bates at any moment. Horrible place.

The hotel is more of a local weekly rental, and is in the need of some work.
