After a enthusiastic and warm welcome, we registered already at 8 o'clock in the morning. Too early for a room available , but we were told that at around 12 o'clock a room should be available for us, instead of after the regular 15 o'clock and that our bags could stay in their locked luggage room until our return from the city. Super!! The room was nicely set at one of the outsides of the building, with windows looking out (partly) on the trains and Princessstreet gardens. A clean room and a new bathroom. While so close to Waverlystation, it was silent in the room. Waverly-station, Old-town and New-town are really on their doorstep. So many pubs, restaurants, coffee-houses and shops in the direct surroundings that it's difficult to choose. So, if we come back to Edinburgh, this hotel is definitely where we will stay again.

Op loopafstand van station. Nette kamers en goed bed. Ook ontbijt is perfect

Super goede ligging van het hotel. Je kan overal te voet heen wat zeer handig is. Kamer was in orde en valt niets over te zeggen. We zouden dit hotel zeker opnieuw kiezen.
Enige werkpuntje zijn de medewerkers van het ontbijt, ze zijn zeer traag en vuile borden blijven lang staan vooraleer iemand deze komt wegruimen. Is jammer want zo druk was het niet aan het ontbijt. Voor de rest ruime keuze en het was een lekker ontbijt.

The location was perfect for walking the city and night life. The shower was spacious and had very hot water. Plenty of outlets. Very nice customer service with baggage storage for before and after your stay. We were in the attached/second building and our room was very cold. The thermostat did not seem to work but the bed and room as a whole was very comfortable.

The location couldn't be better. The hotel is beautifully designed with lovely details. Rooms are comfortable and well appointed. Staff is kind, helpful, and welcoming. Because we were returning to the hotel and had a booking, we were able to store some luggage there when we went away for a few days, which was particularly helpful. Breakfast was great and the dining area is especially nice.
