A bit far out but a wonderful hotel
Geplaatst op 14 sep. 2016
The hotel is quite far from then centre but it can easily be reached by a direct tram. In a way this also allows a good impression of the city around the centre as the tram ride takes about 30-40 minutes. Trams are really frequent, so no problem there.
The hotel room was very spacious and beautiful, although it was somewhat awkward to have a bath tub with no shower function and a separate shower in another bathroom where I literally had to demount the fitted disabled seat in order to take a shower. Again, if a person is in need of the facility the room would be ideal, but if you don't it was certainly awkward.
The hotel personnel was a mixed bag. Some where really friendly, others not at all. In general, they did not volunteer much information upon arrival, such as how to get to the centre etc. I really had to fish for the information which was different from other Radisson Blu hotels I have stayed in before.
The breakfast buffet was really great.
And the absolutely best feature of the hotel is the amazing hotel gym. I have never come across such a well-equipped gym in any hotel. It really made the weekend all the more enjoyable because I did not have to miss out on the gym routine.
