'Lokatie was heel goed. Parkeren uitstekend en personeel zeel vriendelijk. Keuze aan ontbijt wel erg beperkt en vrijwel iedere dag hetzelfde. Er is een binnenplaats waar in de avonden vaak herrie gemaakt wordt door andere gasten. Rond 23uur is deze herrie meestal wel afgelopen. Afwerking van de kamers is niet netjes.'

'Lovely place if you find yourself in New Orleans. Easy check in. Clean and comfortable rooms. Nice breakfast. A few strange quirks in room: large closet but small bathroom. A single glass panel (not a sliding door) covers half the shower while the other half is exposed and spills water all over the floor. '

'Hotel very nice but seemed like every chain hotel. Nothing really special to show the French quarter charm as other hotels. Also not a close walk to bourbon as preferred. Very nosy on the pool and courtyard area all hours of the day. '

'We loved our stay at the FMI. It was centrally located and an easy walk to everything we wanted to do. It was clean and quiet. The courtyard was a nice place to relax after a long day of walking around the city. We also loved that it’s connected to a coffee shop! Very nice to go grab coffee in the morning. '

'Staff will make the difference, in the end. Despite some interesting 24/7 noise (running or leaking water), despite the double room with noisy connection to 2nd room (like being in the same room), we’d go there again. Its location, its overall offer including excellent breakfast, its beds and again its staff. Big cheers to our weeklong breakfast waitress Kaisey (go Honduras!), you made at least our wake-ups with your smile!'

'I really enjoyed the property. I had to be moved after first night . The room next to the outside gate would slam and wake me up. The walls are thin and you can hear EVERYTHING. The customer service was outstanding! The staff was the best thing '

'Neither above and beyond nor terrible. It was great to have the breakfast available and the room itself provided all that I needed. The location was great, about a 10-15 minute walk from the Convention Center. Found more restaurants and cafes the longer I stayed, but the area is definitely not bouncing with activity like the French Quarter is.'

'The Baroone Plaza is very well located, just a couple of blocks from Canal Street and the French Quarter. It's an old hotel and shows its age, but I did like the little art deco touches here and there. My room had a fridge, which I liked. The staf was friendky and helpful. Overall, a pretty decent three-star.'
