'It was a building and room that exuded history. The room was spacious and charming with its bed, furniture, and balcony. The bath, air conditioning, and TV were comfortable. However, the surrounding area required a bit of caution.'

We loved walking around. Some reviews said that the room was too small but it worked well for both of us. 'Clean, beautiful property right in the waterfront and close to many San Diego attractions. Parking is expensive in this area but reasonable and easy at this hotel. Centrally located with easy access either walkable or train ride to the marina, little Italy, and gas lamp district. Breakfast was good quality with lots of options. The front desk staff were very nice, and were able to accommodate a late check out which was nice for our overnight stay. '

'I like that it was close to everything. Food was great for breakfast. Checkin was easy and early. I didn’t like that an alarm clock went off at 3am and couldn’t talk to a manager. They wrote it down and told me a manager would reach out that hadn’t happened. Also I found a dirty rag in the room after they cleaned it. Those were two things I didn’t like. '

'Very noisy street side room. Next time will ask for a room on the other side. Room needs some maintenance, hook falling off the wall. '
