'Not the greatest luxury but certainly a good lodge to stay at sequoia. Wifi mainly works in the common room (bedroom didn’t work for us) but this didn’t bother us much. Rooms are clean and tidy. You can take gasoline at the lodge aswell as a shop and a pizza-restaurant. Breakfast with fresh fruit was also better than we expected it to be.'

'The place is quiet. I love that the place is only 30 mins away from Kings Canyon. There is also a Dollar General store across so you can always drive back and forth for some necessities. Pet friendly, with very minimal fee. Bed was comfy, room was well kept with quaint designs, makes you feel at home. It will be nice to have more coffee selections, the coffee had in our room was blah. Overall it was an awesome stay!'

'Beautiful view of the lake. Daily walks during spring season was perfect. Flowers bursting everywhere Very quiet and remote. Extremely spacious. Perfect for multi-families. Internet works great only inside cabin. Joseph was very friendly and very helpful for any questions or concerns. Loved the woodstove fireplace. It was fun to use and kept us warm. '

'Cabin had comfortable beds and thankfully plenty of fans. Unfortunately ran out of toilet paper first night. Host voicemail not set up and no instructions for Wi-Fi password or TV dish. Friendly cats on the front porch. Keep in mind front door could lock behind you. Nearest grocery is 45 min at a Valero gas station. Excellent food at Pinehurst Lodge bar and grill on the way to/from Sequoia. Minor issues aside we enjoyed our stay at this peaceful cabin.'

'We squeezed a trip up to the national parks during a trip to see family in LA, so we only had two nights. We arrived and immediately wished we had more time! The cabin, the creek behind it, the trails adjacent — everything was twice as beautiful as we imagined. The owners are thoughtful and gracious. We truly appreciated this little bonus gem.'

'This VRBO-makeover is nicely appointed, spacious (sleeps 6 or more!) and conveniently located near the middle of town. Don't plan on using the "carport" unless you're driving a pickup truck or SUV. Access to carport is via a one-lane asphalt alley that has a steep dropoff. Alternative: park on the shoulder of Hwy 168 and schlep your bags up 15 stairs. '

' The house was very nice and cozy but hard to find with GPS. The parking was confusing. The stairs to the entrance was a climb. We had someone with a recent foot surgery with us and it made it hard for them to climb.them.'

'This cabin is so close to being amazing. It's a great location for getting into Sequoia National Park and is secluded enough that you can set up some chairs and enjoy some quiet stargazing. The cabin itself was clean and had everything we needed. The only problem was the bathroom was falling apart to the point that we avoided using it altogether. If the bathroom door hinges were fixed and the walls made more permanent this would be a perfect place to stay'

'Overall, our stay was good.The property was spacious and quiet. Comments I have are that the bed (master bed) was too plush for my preference; Others may like this. My wife noticed that the pillow sheets has a smell to them. Lastly, the property doesn't not have AC. The listing states that it has AC. Fortunately, the weekend we stayed was cooler than normal. I'm not able to upload the screenshot of the detail starting that the property has AC, but I hope the host update this.'
