'The hotel doesn't have a own parking, the location is so/so and the outside of the hotel looks like there's nothing to it but don't judge this book by it's cover. The rooms and beds are amazing. 'Stromness is een mooie uitvalsbasis voor een aantal bezienswaardigheden, maar gezien de kleine afstanden op het eiland zou ik zelf in Kirkwall gaan zitten. Inns zijn over het algemeen erg goed, maar hier was de kamer echt wel heel klein, verouderd en vooral ook gehorig. Het bed was oncomfortabel: matras met veren, flinterdunne kussens. Geen enkele luxe. Dat hoeft ook niet, maar dit voelde haast als een hostel. Restaurant en bar zijn fijn om te hebben en serveren prima eten, maar het personeel...
