'Lobby en faciliteiten daar helemaal top! Waren er één nacht op doorrreis. Kamers klein en echt smoezelig, stonken. Kamers van de lodge geen airco, werd wel vermeld maar omdat het zo benauwd was en de lucht die er hing waren we blij dat de nacht voorbij was. Waanzinnige omgeving!'

'We love Fireside and have stayed often. This time the cable was out and couldn't be fixed during our stay. Perhaps the storm, but still.. The sidewalks to the building were cleaned but became icy later. It is important not to slip carrying luggage etc. The property manager should salt the spots or whatever.'

'The location is good and parking is easy. The property is older, and the apartment décor is very rundown and tired looking and feeling. Like a trip to the 70's. Unit heating was adequate but very loud (difficult sleeping). The amenities were sub-par. The pool table was broken, the sauna didn't work, and the jacuzzi was not clean. Pet friendly meant "yellow snow" throughout the property, including in the walkways and hallways. Site did work hard at snow removal.'

'This is a great base for skiing Mammoth Mountain. The location is close to groceries, restaurants, ski shops. It is just a short drive to our favorite parking area. We did not try the shuttle. The condo is a little long in the tooth, but serves the purpose at a reasonable price. The place could use some maintenance on the heat and plumbing. '
