'This was just a quick getaway for my husband's 50th birthday. We like staying at historic hotels. The Americus was beautiful! In our opinion, it was prettier that The Waldorf Astoria! Only thing I want to share with others is that it is located downtown so you will get that "downtown" noise overnight. But I still had a good night's sleep because the bed was so comfortable!'
