'Stayed for 3 nights at the Clayhanger Guest house. Friendly staff welcomed us when we arrive at the door. semi-private parking behind the building. Nice room with good beds. Ensuite bathroom with shower and small fridge was all we needed. Breakfast service was great. Good value for the price we payed. '

'Was given a room in the Anex across the car park . It was terrible, cold and dirty but I told the lady receptionist the next day and she was lovely. She moved us into the main hotel and gave us a lovely room which was clean and warm and the bed was comfy. Only complaint was thick dust in top of radiator.'

'Vreemd hotel. Oud en versleten. De wc had een vermaler die ontzettend veel lawaai maakte. Het hotel was erg gehorig en er werd snachts veel geschreeuwd. De lakens roken naar rook als je je omdraaide. Er zaten gaten in de vloerbedekking '

'This was a lovely property on a farm & great value. The welcome was warm & friendly. The beds were comfortable & the freshly laundered bed linen smelled lovely. It was a short drive to Alton Towers. The WiFi was slow though & there isn't great mobile reception. However, I would thoroughly recommend it & we all said we would stay again in a heartbeat.'

'Room 3 The room was cold the widows seal was letting in a cold draft. Thery is no chair in the room. I found a slug on the floor next to the fridge their mould in the bathroom and by the entrance to the room in the kitchen. Constant banging doors as other tenants enter the kitchen. Noise from tenants using the kitchen and the smell of food.'

'Excellent cottage, clean,comfortable and homely, many people would be upset because of lack of phone signal or internet but made it for me real peace and quiet, Excellent kitchen is well equipped with pots pans,cutlery, drink making facilities, and the views from the cottage are outstanding. '

'Spotlessly clean, close to shops and entertainment. Easy to get around by car. Best value for money we could find in the area. Check in is remote - was a little bit disjointed and there were no parking spaces left when we arrived at the check in time. The on street spaces around the accommodation are permit only.
