'Loved the property. The neighborhood is bustling well into the night, but in our room on the fifth floor was not impacted by the outside noise. Room was great. Every staff member that we encountered was fabulous. Would highly recommend. Only downside was the expensive parking.'

'If you’re visiting the OSU, Blackwell is a great place to stay: right on campus, across from the football stadium, it's a first-rate hotel with great staff and rooms. The surroundings are a little empty because you're on the edge of campus, and food options walkable from the hotel are mostly chains and student oriented. However, convience and quality absolutely make it worthwhile to stay here for campus-related work or visits. Definitely top of my list of places to stay in Columbus. '

'I did not appreciate having to pay for overnight parking as a guest at the hotel. Also water bottles were $3 which is ridiculous. The rest was fine '

'It was not the worst experience, but it was not the best. We had to change rooms because there was a hole in the shower where the faucet was suppose to be. Not sure if maintenance forgot to alert the front desk so the room would not be rented. They did not have anymore double bed rooms, so had to settle for a king size bed for myself and my daughter. They handeled it very professionally. I just think maintenance dropped the ball. '

'I could eventually sleep without earplugs, first time during my 2 weeks US trip. Very clean, reception very polite and most helpful: as a real hotel should be! It's also quite original in its decor and this is a bonus. I was not terribly satisfied by the breakfast, as I always prefer a buffet breakfast which is not what they offer; and cafes in and around the hotel already closed by 2pm sounded weird to me! But this does not detract that much to the hotel's outstanding quality. I loved my stay.'

'The staff working the desk were extremely friendly and made us feel so welcoming. We checked in late in the evening and the gentleman working made sure we had everything we needed and all questions were answered. The rooms needed to be updated, and they could be cleaner, but everything else was fine.'

'We drove from Nashville Tennessee to Columbus Ohio for a wedding shower for my niece. The check in time was 3pm. We checked in 10 minutes early and we went to our room. The cleaning crew didn't clean the room yet. My daughter and I went downstairs and decide to have a drink while we wait. We waiting another 30 minutes and it still was not done. The cleaning crew rush to finish it up to get us into the room. The manager did apologize and offer to put us in another room but we decided it...
