'This was my second stay at Paradise Pond, and was even more enjoyable than the first. It's in a quiet setting with plenty of woodland to explore and lots of bird and wildlife activity on the pond, but just a quick hop to Santa Fe, and with easy access to Taos and Abiquiu/Ghost Ranch. The casita is spacious, well-equipped, and spotlessly clean. Tom is the perfect host, very friendly and always happy to make travel suggestions. There's also a nice library of maps, brochures, and books on the area...

'Because I had never visited Los Alamos when the booking said the place was located in Downtown I had envisioned a more traditional urban city center and not such a small village. But that's on me. As for the Canyon Inn itself it was centrally located, clean and relatively quiet. I also wasn't quite expecting the room to be a extra room in someone's residence but it was spacious and more comfortable than I thought it would be. The owners were friendly but not intrusive.
