'My wife and I stayed 4 night in this updated 1700s cottage that was clean and cozy. I’m an early riser so I enjoyed the early mornings by the fire pit and my wife slept in. We visited a lot of the area places ie Strasburg railroad, sight and sound theatre which was amazing! Went to Amish and or Mennonite owned and or run shops and markets and just had a relaxing time when we return to the cottage . The Meck’s did a wonderful job updating yet keeping it from the era. 'My daughter had a lacrosse tournament in the area and this lovely cottage was a great surprise. Close to Hershey Park and in the most enchanting community! It was almost as if we went back in time when we stayed! Perfect option if you do not want to stay in hotels! Wish we could have stayed longer to see all that the area had to offer!'

'The apartment was the perfect size for for our family of four and our dog. The kitchen was well appointed for cooking a few meals at home to save some money. The bathroom is large and well laid out. If you're looking for ice cream, check out Fox Meadows creamery, a short walk away or drive a few minutes to Hayloft ice cream. At Hayloft, you can feed ducks and fish in the adjacent pond. Achenbachs bakery, just down the road, has some good long johns.'

'Get ready to be immersed in history and antiques in this adorable cottage in Mt Gretna! Removed from the modern world, traffic, the city as well as modern conveniences. We love antiques & the wraparound porch, had a little issue with the mildew/mold and had to open all the windows & doors during our stay. Remember to bring your own hair dryer, iron or steamer & charger banks. All bedrooms are located upstairs & don’t have modern electrical outlets & not a lot of lights. Recommend arriving well...
