'We stayed at Casey’s place for about a week. The place was cute and very comfortable. There was parking in the driveway for 2 SUVs back to back, which was really nice. There was a basket of some goodies in the kitchen as well as pots & pans, etc. There was also some food in the cabinets which we didn’t use, but was nice to know it was there. 'Rented the cottage for a family member (I live in the area). Cute, well-built and clean. In a quite and scenic location that is very close to Palmer. No disappointments. Owners are nice people and attentive. Two thumbs up.'

'This was the perfect place for our family of 6 (all adults)! We enjoyed walking on the beach and the amazing views from the deck/balcony! The location was awesome, too! We would definitely choose the Wheelhouse again!!'

'Comfortable apartment 15 minutes south of Denali with well organized kitchen. Several little gifts to enhance our stay. Many Alaskan resources to read and artwork to enjoy! Only hiccup was directions said Trail and road sign said Loop. Will stay there again when we go back!'

'Great cabin for 2 families or one big family. The house had everything we needed and grocery stores were close. Norman was available by phone and just down the road. Loved that all bedrooms had their own bathrooms. Beds were comfortable. The wood burning fireplace was really warm and cozy.'

'Stay in the main house. The views are fabulous. Where we stayed the ground floor studio was not comfortable. Lighting was bad and it smelt of cigarette smoke. It was nice to have the main house to go into which if we hadn’t had a lot of luggage would have chosen '

'We enjoyed our stay but had a little trouble with the road noise. The noise is pretty constant during the day but does reduce at night. The cabin was clean and the bed was comfortable. They have to bring in water (there was plenty when we were there) so they ask you to conserve water. We had no problem with that, but didn't know until we got there so that was a bit of a surprise. Never met the owners but the guestbook spoke positively of them. Overall, it was a nice stay.'

'We were in the bottom unit which was very noisy if there were guests upstairs! We could hear every footstep. The unit is basement, so it’s a little musty smelling. The owner does have a dehumidifier running in the bedroom. The unit is clean and well stocked. The location was good for hiking and adventures based out of Seward. We liked having the grill and we sat on the porch bar stools watching eagles!'
