'We booked this as a place to stay while going to a family reunion the next town over. The house is as pictured and would be really great, but for the hosts. As a frequent guest of these types of places, with only high guest ratings, we are fine with average rules. Beware, these owners are VERY fearful of people staying there. My guests (registered) and I felt watched the entire time. Meanwhile, the oven was full of grease that filled up the house with grease whenever used, soap and TP ran out on...

'The owner was very nice to deal with and was kind enough to let us get into the home a bit early - much appreciated! In addition, she does have some nice things in the house - two coffeemakers, good internet, seating options, tvs, etc. But this house is old and needs repairs/replacements - the beds are not comfortable, the deck is rickety, some of the windows are old and don't close all the way (so bugs get in - mayflies and stink bugs), the dishwasher didn't drain completely and the hot water...

'My main complaint was the listing said basic soaps To me that should include shower soap- all other places I have stayed have as well as shampoos We arrived at the property at 10 pm and had to go out to the store to buy soap so we could all shower in the morning That was the major disappointment. Otherwise the house is spacious and well kept'
