Climbing up and down the 43 steps to cottage can be tiring especially for the elderly. There is Liquer store very close buy and grocery store within 5 miles. I must say that prices there very high, but in no way does that reflect on owner. We certainly are looking forward to coming back for another stay.'

'Great spot plenty of space in the house for everyone. Nice kitchen and livingroom obviously the salt water pool was great. We spent out nights near the fire pit and gazed at the stars. They really shine bright with no light pollution around here. Recommend having your monitoring coffee near the river access for a relaxing start to your day.'

'Heerlijk om een paar dagen in dit cottage te verblijven met ons gezin. Veelvuldig gebruik gemaakt van de kano’s, peddleboard en de outdoor spelletjes. Het meer is prachtig en het is zo rustig en sereen. Veel privacy, gezellig cottage maar we gedateerd. Alles is aanwezig en de supermarkt is een kwartiertje rijden met de auto. Hout voor de Firepit is overvloedig aanwezig, bordspelletjes ook. Lekker bbq en buiten bij het vuur eten, helemaal top. De steiger en het vlot zijn hartstikke leuk, het was...

'I absolutely loved this spot. I had such a great time and I actually miss it! I especially love the trails behind the inn. I had no idea that it was Pequot territory. It is really marvelous. Great to walk on. Not too hard, not too easy, tons of history, and a real sense of the sacred nature of Lantern Hill. I highly recommend.'
