"Strange hotel! You are assigned a room and then have to take the elevator to a floor, after which you have to get out and drag your suitcases down half a floor. After you have opened the door, you once again have to drag your luggage down half a floor along a spiral staircase. The room was next to a busy street so you could count all the traffic that passed by. the room was quite small, but clean. I had to take care of the bathroom because the toilet water kept running. The hotel is situated at a five minutes walk from the Tritoni Fountain. There is a fantastic pizza bar at the end of the street, but reservation is necessary. The hotel has a small indoor pool in the basement which spreads a chlorine smell through the hotel."

"I liked the room with 2 balconies. I liked the view from the room and the view from the roof terrace. I liked that the hotel was close to everything in the centre. I liked that we got a bag with fruit and yoghurt when we had to leave the hotel very early( before breakfast). I missed a fridge in the room and the bathroom was really basic."

"This hotel needs a makeover to deserve its five star holiday hotel status. Pool area specifically is outdated, lots of small tiles disappeared, broken or loose. Almost half the sunbeds are in bad shape. Towel service can be better, either allow more than one towel per person (the towels are really small) or offer larger towels. In the rooms you can easily spot paint blathering off, airco is very noisy. All in all one can see this hotel has not been maintained the way one would expect for its rating. Breakfast is good and everyone can find something to their liking. Staff is very helpful, friendly and present in sufficient numbers. It is the building and its premises that need an overhaul."
