Ons appartement is de perfecte uitvalsbasis voor uw self-catering vakantie op Malta, net buiten de stadsmuren van de oude Valletta, een Werelderfgoedstad, en binnen handbereik van alle voorzieningen en vervoersverbindingen. Het appartement heeft een balkon en een groot dakterras, geschikt voor maximaal 8 personen en is geheel gerenoveerd met moderne, stijlvolle meubels en gloednieuwe apparaten. Het appartement is geschikt voor maximaal 8 personen en heeft een slaapkamer met tweepersoonsbed, een slaapkamer met twee eenpersoonsbedden en twee slaapbanken in de woonkamer. Moderne en stijlvolle bad / doucheruimte en een tweede gastentoilet.

De accommodatie is ruim, licht en luchtig en heeft traditionele Maltese kenmerken, zoals de rustieke houten luiken voor de ramen en balkondeuren. Er is een aparte tv-lounge met kabel-tv en een dvd-speler. We hebben ook een kinderbedje, dat geschikt is voor baby's tot 2 jaar oud. Voldoende beddengoed en handdoeken zijn aanwezig, maar neem je eigen strandlakens mee.

Grote keuken / ontbijtruimte met veel karakter (retrostijl uit de jaren 1950) en een eettafel voor zes personen, volledig uitgerust met koffiezetapparaat, waterkoker, broodrooster, wasmachine, strijkfaciliteiten. We kunnen een welkomstpakket met etenswaren voorzien van thee, koffie en broodjes voor uw aankomst, indien nodig.

Het balkon van het appartement is klein, maar heeft een smeedijzeren tafel op patio-grootte en twee stoelen - perfect voor uw ochtend kopje koffie. Het dakterras is echter erg groot met sinaasappelbomen, jasmijn- en bougainvillea-planten, een grote tuintafel en vier stoelen om buiten te eten en twee ligstoelen.

Een prima uitvalsbasis om Valletta en Malta te ontdekken

Een heerlijke plek op een strategische plek in de hoofdstad Valletta om vandaaruit alle bezienswaardigheden te ontdekken: - Gelegen vlakbij de Barrakka-lift die je in één keer naar het bovenste deel van de stad brengt. - Maar de trappen liggen nog dichterbij en dat levert gelijk wat extra stappen op ;-). - De veerboot naar 'De drie steden' ligt letterlijk aan de straat onder het appartement. Het eclectisch ingerichte appartement is van alle gemakken voorzien. Wij hebben genoten van onze week in Valletta!

Everything about this property is even better than you read! Debra communicated really well, giving us the option of a driver meeting us and Sandra (housekeeper) meeting us and buying essential provisions. Both options were a godsend. Sandra is great- very friendly and knowledgeable. Nothing was a problem.The apartment location is ideal. Easy to get to the ferry to Gozo or to the 3 cities. There is a swimming area 10-15 mins away and the central area of Valletta is a simple walk. You’re close to everything. The bus station is 10 minutes away and you can go anywhere from there.The apartment is well stocked with essentials. It is comfortable with great air con, comfy beds and seating. The balcony looks over the harbour. There is a washing machine- laundry essentials provided.In all, it was a brilliant home away from home. A definite 5 stars!

Great location!

The stay was great, once we got in!There was some miscommunication about what time we could arrive at the property, which caused a lot of angst because we had booked a full day tour based on what we had thought we had heard about the possibility of leaving our luggage early. After about an hour and some frantic texting, we got in, and it all worked out in the end! Very cute place and great location! Would definitely stay there again!!

Great location

This apartment is in the best location to really enjoy Malta. We enjoyed Valetta, bus journeys to various locations, cheap Bolt journeys as well as comfortably enjoyed the taxi pick up and taking to the airport organised by Debra / Sandra. In terms of the location in Valetta, you have 2 easy options of going to the bus terminus, either via the Barrakka lift or the stairs. Food is easily obtained either from Wembley or the Food court and there is also Spar on the corner opposite St John’s Co-cathedral. There are several street food stalls at the bus terminus or pastizzerias in Valetta. In terms of where we were able to go in just a week, we managed bus journeys to Golden Bay and l-Ghadira bay. Marsaxlokk had lots of great fish restaurants and very close to St Peter’s Pool for the adventurous. The apartment is right next to the Fast Gozo ferry, so we enjoyed a day trip where we hired a car for the day to visit remote beaches. My eldest kids enjoyed a social night life and felt safe everywhere they went. Bus services or Bolt supported their travels. Valetta is becoming more popular now and you can see this with more and more bars opening up whether on quirky steps / roads or other pedestrianised roads. Staying at Debra’s apartment means you are right in the heart of the social atmosphere, yet a block or 2 away, enabling you to not be impacted by any noise. Sandra on the ground was very helpful and there to help with showing us around the apartment.

We loved Malta and everything the area offered. The location of the property was excellent with easy access to the Three Cities and the ferry to Gozo as well as the fabulous Old Town. We certainly got our "steps" in!

In a quiet area, but just a short walk to all the action in town. Overlooks the Grand Harbor. Close to ferries to three cities and Gozo. The only reason i didn't give it 5 stars was because the layout is a little choppy . The living room is small.

Lovely flat looking out over Valetta Harbour

This flat was perfect for us with beautiful views over Valetta harbour. The views from the shared roof terrace were prenominal. The flat itself is everything it say it is online. We used the recommended taxi and the driver let us in the flat, which meant our arrival was easy and uncomplicated. We also opted for the welcome pack for 25 euros and it was a very good buy. Easy to get into central Valetta - either upstairs or using the lift ( 1 euros there and back) it was ideally placed for a lovely holiday.

Marvellous Malta

The appartment was in an excellent location overlooking Grand Harbour. It was comfortable and as described. It was well equipped. We arranged a taxi to the appartment and back to the airport from the appartment and a selection of food for when we first arrived. All went very smoothly. The information pack left in the appartment was very useful and it was equally good to have a phone number to call should we need it.

Just perfect

I know everyone uses that word "perfect" for everything and everyone now. You buy a toothbrush and pay and the cashier says "perfect". How can you argue with that?All kidding aside, it really was. For us at least, and we're picky. We also have a VRBO ourselves.And we get great reviews and yes, some lemons too. To us the place and the vibes are key.We loved the roominess of this apartment and the cool concrete tiles. Two bathrooms and...and the bed was so comfy we looked at the label. Memory foam! Sweet.The kitchen is big and drenched in sunlight from the east. There is a little balcony big enough for a table so breakfast in the morning sun. The location a stone's throw from the quai and the Victoria Steps right into the old town.The sun and the view of the harbor? Aw shucks. "Poyfect" as an ex New Yawker would say.

The view from the balcony over looking the harbour is just stunning. 5 minute walk to the bars and restaurants and right in the middle for all the attractions. Very spacious and clean. Plus lovely people to deal with.

Wonderful holiday

This was our second time staying at this property and we were not disappointed. However, some aspects of the apartment could benefit from some TLC. Some of the kitchen cupboard doors are delaminating and some hinges do not work correctly. Since we are getting older we found that the shower accessibility was problematic. A support bar in the shower would help alleviate this problem. Otherwise, all was as expected and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Good location and comfortable for a family

The apartment is really nice and comfortable with a beautiful view. There is not a keyless check in which was an inconvenience. We had someone pick us up at the airport to deliver the keys but the cost of that was more than finding our own transportation to the property. Having someone meet us with the keys was not an option by the host for a 8 pm check in. Other than that issue everything was great and Malta is amazing.

Fab visit to Valletta

A well equipped apartment with superb access to Valletta. Wonderful views across the Grand Harbour from the shared terrace on the roof. The location is brilliant for travel across to the Three Cities with significant historical interest and its restaurants. We had a great time.

Right near the 3 cities, Gozo and Blue Lagoon ferries. Watch the mammoth cruise ships glide right out your kitchen window. The air conditioning is a life saver.

Perfect location to experience the City

We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment is lovely and spacious. Beautiful furniture, comfortable beds, great views and nice outdoor spaces (the rooftop terrace is two flights up in the apartment building). We were delighted that our host arranged transportation for us, could have some essentials on hand when we arrived, and that we were met in person to get introduced to the apartment. Communication was excellent before and during our stay. The location is just a block from the ferries, and a couple blocks to be right in the heart of the City. It was great to be able to walk everywhere and close to the bus for our exploring other areas.

Great apartment in a fantastic location

Very good communication. Really helpful local contact. Apartment itself is spacious and the air conditioning in the kitchen and both bedrooms is a godsend. Really enjoyed our stay despite getting all of September's average rain in the week we were there.
