The location is good for Valetta, close but out the way for the noise, within walking distance of everything.

'Strange hotel! You are assigned a room and then have to take the elevator to a floor, after which you have to get out and drag your suitcases down half a floor. After you have opened the door, you once again have to drag your luggage down half a floor along a spiral staircase. The room was next to a busy street so you could count all the traffic that passed by. the room was quite small, but clean. I had to take care of the bathroom because the toilet water kept running.

'We really enjoyed our stay in Melior during our visit to Malta.
One of us participated in a international academic conference in the Valletta campus but one of us was along for just the holiday and the hotel worked really well for us location-wise and with all it's amenities.
Even though we follow a pescaterian diet, the breakfast had plenty of options for us and for us ordering the breakfast the previous evening and having it delivered to the room worked really well.

'The only thing I would say in terms of improvements is perhaps to better train the staff at breakfast. The supervisor was good but no one proactively came and asked for coffee/tea orders. The staff were nice, no question, I just think they could be better trained to be more attentive to the visitors. 'Very nice and pleasant staff that are willing to go above and beyond. The host is a kind and considerate individual (Joseph) that is always trying to make sure you are having a wonderful time. The owner ( Vanessa ) compliments the stay entirely making sure that you have the most memorable time . Together all things considered it is truly a Five star experience.'

"We had a superior apartment on the first floor ('Parliament') for one night. Beautiful apartment with well equipped kitchenette in a historical building. There is no reception desk, but communication goes via app or phone. Check-in is with a code that works on the front doors and the apartment door. However, our code did not work on the apartment door. But there was also a locker-box (which also worked in a 4-digit number) with the key in it. Check-out time is 10:00 AM which is rather early. One and a half week before arrival I asked is there a luggage room where to store our 2 suitcases for a few hours. The answer was: yes, there is. On arrival however, the luggage room was 'in use'. Instead they offered us a late check-out of 12:00 which worked out fine. "

"Geweldige locatie in het historische centrum van Valletta. Perfecte uitvalsbasis.
We werden onthaald en wegwijs gemaakt in het hotel en hoffelijk overladen door een vriendelijke dame aan het onthaal. We arriveerden iets te vroeg, in afwachting van het vrijkomen van onze kamer, kregen we een glas prosecco aangeboden in de lobby. Vervolgens werden we begeleid naar onze kamer.
Onze kamer was ruim. We hadden gekozen Deluxe Kamer. Het beddegoed was van uitstekende kwaliteit en het werd naar wens dagelijks werd ververst. De 2 badkamers werden piekfijn onderhouden. Het meubilair was ruim en van goede kwaliteit, het paste bij de stijl van het oude maar pure klasse uitstralende gebouw.
We gebruikten dagelijks ons ontbijt ter plaatse. Dit werd door een team van hartelijke dames à la carte aan tafel opgediend. Alles was van goede kwaliteit en met zorg klaargemaakt.
De general manager van het hotel was ook dagelijks aanwezig tijdens de ontbijt- dienst en stond steeds ter beschikking. Hij gaf ons tal van tips om veel uit ons verblijf te halen. Zeer hartelijk man!
