'A beautiful, quiet, environmentally respectful little haven, with superb views and lots of native wildlife. Don't expect mod-cons, but go prepared to enjoy off-grid living, in a comfortable little cabin with everything you need (kitchen, wood fire, comfy bed, spacious deck for eagle, earth and star watching). Although the checkin is contactless, the owner is in contact via email with warm, personal messages, is responsive and helpful if required. Thanks so much Peter! We loved it.'

'Property looks like it was once very nice. Now pretty tired with very little atmosphere. After being disappointed by the very basic breakfast we decided not to dine here for dinner. Staff were friendly but it felt disorganized, restaurant was cold and room off restaurant is a store room. Nothing high end about this place'

'Whilst the reception staff upon arrival where fantastic, we were advised of several access point closures meaning we had to cart luggage through the deck and dining room then up stairs. Quite difficult with luggage. Further, to leave we had to go an even longer way out with another flight of stairs as the reception and dining area is locked on Sundays. Luckily I was able to help my Mum with her luggage and weather was fine but very disappointed at the lack of up keep and access. '

'A little of attention to detail to make this cottage feel like it still belongs to the 19th century, but full of luxurious like a big spa bath, coffee machine, hidden away tv, super luxurious bed and bedding, reasonably priced drinks in the fridge, and a beautiful spots out front and to the rear to enjoy the beautiful gardens and the quiet surroundings. We'd definitely stay here again! '

'Nous avions initialement réservé cet endroit pour notre séjour dans le secteur de Freycinet. Expedia nous mentionne que la réservation ne peut être honorée et revient quelques jours plus tard pour nous dire que c'est ok. Entre temps, nous avons réservé un autre lieu et les communications ont cessé. Nous n'avons jamais reussi à etre remboursé.'
