'Camp Comfort is the perfect blend of rustic and elegance! Every need was anticipated from lighting to leisure reading novels to comfortable bedding to toiletries to linens to spaciousness. We highly recommend this site to anyone wanting a frontier, small-town atmosphere.'

'We had a very nice spacious ground floor room with king bed and large bathroom (suite 7) in the Carriage House annex. It had a view of the main building's rear. It is a nice heritage building. Towels and shower were good. Breakfast offered freshly made hot items and home-made jam of good quality. Friendly staff. Parking in the quiet street in front of the hotel. Breakfast time between 9 and 10 am, a bit too late to our liking. The king bed was a bit too sensitive to a partner's movements in bed....

'First-class experience. We wanted to be close to Fredericksburg but not downtown. This place is very quiet and sits on a hill, affording an amazing view from the top. You will not be disappointed. '

'This facility was like a little fairy tale cottage. We loved it! There was a fire pit with plenty of wood and kindling provided and hammocks in the trees for relaxing and reading. Definitely recommend for an option far more unique than a chain hotel.'

'Diane is quick to respond to questions and the house was perfect for a quick get away. Location is perfect for visiting Stonewall and Fredericksburg. Exploring the back roads will lead you to some pretty amazing wineries and gorgeous sights of the hill country. One quick thing. If you travel with furry friends, bring a comb to brush off the little burs. You'll thank me later. Lol.'

'We wanted to stay close to Hudson’s and it was within walking distance. Host communicated right away on all texts. You have to coordinate coming in and out of gate. We had a complimentary breakfast which was delicious and was offered dinner up to 1030pm. Two beautiful dogs roam the huge yard.'
