'Camp Comfort is the perfect blend of rustic and elegance! Every need was anticipated from lighting to leisure reading novels to comfortable bedding to toiletries to linens to spaciousness. We highly recommend this site to anyone wanting a frontier, small-town atmosphere.'

'We had a very nice spacious ground floor room with king bed and large bathroom (suite 7) in the Carriage House annex. It had a view of the main building's rear. It is a nice heritage building. Towels and shower were good. Breakfast offered freshly made hot items and home-made jam of good quality. Friendly staff. Parking in the quiet street in front of the hotel. Breakfast time between 9 and 10 am, a bit too late to our liking. The king bed was a bit too sensitive to a partner's movements in bed....

'First-class experience. We wanted to be close to Fredericksburg but not downtown. This place is very quiet and sits on a hill, affording an amazing view from the top. You will not be disappointed. '

'This facility was like a little fairy tale cottage. We loved it! There was a fire pit with plenty of wood and kindling provided and hammocks in the trees for relaxing and reading. Definitely recommend for an option far more unique than a chain hotel.'

'The scenery driving to this place was beautiful! So many hill country views and deer! The property itself was very nice and clean, I wish I had more time to spend there! A perfect weekend getaway. About 20 minutes from Kerrville and on a good day about 45 to SA. Perfect location to do a little both antiquing and storefront shopping.'

'My sisters and I wanted a place to stay over the holiday weekend that was still close enough to our homes that we could take care of necessary chores without driving for hours. Micky's and Vicky's place provided that retreat for us. Kitchen and laundry in house made everything easy. The ranch critters were all charming. I'm glad I took a full bag of carrots for all the furry hosts!'
