'This cabin was perfect for our fall weekend getaway. Location is perfect - feels secluded but just a short drive to both Blowing Rock and Boone as well as many nearby trail options for hiking. The cabin itself is just as described. Kitchen and bathrooms are updated, and the living areas are cozy and nicely furnished. The beds were very comfortable with memory foam mattresses, and linens were clean and fresh. Kitchen was well stocked with basics and everything was spotless when we arrived....

'The Hemlock Inn is located in a great location to walk to Main Street. The gazebo is a nice place to spend an evening and meet the good people staying there. All the staff are very friendly as well. '

'the wild life (swans, ducks, otter) in the lake on Chetola resort is very much worth alone to justify the visit. There is plenty of beautiful level paved hikes near and practically starting at the property'

'This place could become a gem if owners would put money into up keep. It is kind of sad. That external maintenance has been neglected. If they just hired a landscape company to take care of and enhance the grounds(not just mow) would go a long way'

'This was our first visit to Blowing Rock. The hotel had a beautiful room. King bed and plenty of space. The bed was very soft, we are firm bed sleepers, but it was an upscale bed. The towels are soft and clean. We had a small refrigerator, micro, and Keurig coffee maker. Bring your win Kcups. Ours had just four. The area is wonderful! We will be back. '
