'Wonderful host! Beautiful campsite! Clean Port-a-potty, with 2-ply toilet tissue! Awning over a picnic table for a nice dinner, there's a grill, fire ring, wood supplied and chairs. We camped at "Big D's Pond", one of his two camping sites. The only drawback is that there's no place to wash/clean up. "Hippie baths" All in all, you will not be disappointed!'

'We booked this property with the event of the polar express planned on Saturday. We checked in Friday night and the house was wonderful. I really enjoyed the journal that was left to write notes about guests stay. I thought there would be a lot more to do in town but we couldn’t find much of anything of interest at the time, so we ended up leaving early Saturday evening.'

'My family needed a well-deserved getaway, and this is the perfect location. We caught up with family living in the area. This house was designed for entertaining. Booked the next week we wanted to come but planning on returning soon for at least a weekend. Thank you for making us feel so welcome.'

'We have stayed at the cabin four times now. Never have any problems or if we need anything or have a question. Homeowner always answers right away. It wasn't as clean upon arrival just this time but were refunded for that and I'm sure it won't happen again. Cant wait to go back'

'This property was clean, modernly decorated and well furnished/supplied. It would sleep 6 but it is small. We were just the 2 of us and it was good. Like someone else said in their review, the neighborhood is not visually nice but the rental property itself is nice. We enjoyed our stay and enjoyed the hot tub. For an issue we had, the owner responded very promptly.'

'This is the secind time my family and i have stayed at this property. We loved it as much as we did the first time. You have neighbors but its surrounded with nature so you almost dont even know that they're there. The kids loved the river access and playing with the canoe and floaties that were provided. The back patio is very inviting and decorated nicely. My favorite room of the house has to be the sun room. We plan on coming back anually.'

'Went to celebrate a friends birthday. It was convenient to the Potomac Eagle train ride. Easy to find. The cabin was clean and very comfortable. Had a challenge using the tv but host helped and we enjoyed the movie. It is a small porch but had a great view. I read a comment about someone elses hot water problem but we had plenty. I would have liked to check in earlier but realize cleaning people need time to get it ready. We had multiple texts about checking out timely, I guess some people took...

'WE loved our stay! The apartment was even better in person than in the pictures, spacious, clean, and sooo comfortable! Location was excellent. We will definitely stay again if we're ever back in Cumberland. Five star rating all around!'

'The grassy area in the shade by the creek is charming. We have returned here for years, and will be back. The only downgrade I gave was in eco friendliness. All hotels should be recycling cans and plastic bottles. This is only just another hotel which should do it.'
