'This is my 5th time staying in the area in a rented home and this is definitely a favorite. The view is gorgeous, the furnishings were better than most rentals and we were very happy with our time. Also - often the drive to mountain homes can be treacherous and scary for a Florida gal - but the drive was easy. My son was graduating from App State so we had several trips to Boone and it was a quick and easy trip. I highly recommend this property.'

'Overall this is a great pick. It is very clean, well stocked, and roomy, with a nice spot downstairs for the kids to have their own hangout spot. It has beautiful views and we got some amazing shots of storm clouds rolling over the lower elevations. Linda was also very responsive and accommodating. Overall A+'

'Quiet, peaceful, clean, and cozy! If that sounds appealing, then you’ve found the right place. This cabin feels completely tucked away, but you are only a very short drive to all Boone has to offer. As some other commenters have mentioned, the driveway is a bit intimidating, but slow and steady will get you there without any issues. We will definitely book this cabin again for our next mountain getaway!'

'Spaciousness and view the best things. Amenities were VERY limited, and when some yahoo rode by oou patio on some kind of ATV for an unexplainable reason at 8AM the morning after we arrived- that woke us up. 'Popcorn and a movie' the following night was equally disappointing. Yes, the movie played, but no popcorn offered, and the latte machine near that area didn't work. Staff was friendly and as accomodating as they could be, but this place is still a work in progress.'

'It was a great stay. Having a restaurant open for all 3 meals was a great convenience. Even though I did not want the sheets or towels changed, I requested for tea/coffee refreshment. But it seems they forgot to do that. But the front desk was very responsive and helped out immediately.|'

'Hotel staff was very gracious and accomodating in allowing me to check-in an hour early, once room was cleaned, enabling to get started on some necessary paperwork. Only criticism was that the breakfast for my two-day stay was the same with very little animal protein, except for boiled eggs and sausage gravy. Way too heavy on the carbs.'
