'Had a large group of friends get together for a 30th bday! Enjoyed all the activities, and the river was absolutely perfect! Tons of room for everyone in the cabins. You will have spotty phone signal but wifi is great. Who needs their phones anyway?! Slide is not for the faint of heart but we all went down it multiple times! Everyone is already asking to do it again next year. Thank you, John and Becky!!!'

'We LOVED staying here! It was perfect for our family. The backyard is cozy and the hot tub is luxurious. The park across the street is perfect for kids and toddlers. It is also covered! The beds are comfortable. My son loved the kids room and spent lots of time playing and watching his favorite shows. The host was easy to get ahold of and very polite. We highly recommended and hope to stay again the future!'

'This is like a home away from home. Very well furnished and all the amenities of home. Very tidy and clean and comfortable. The property manager is very quick to respond to inquiries and easily reachable by phone. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely chose to stay again.'

'We love staying at the Ranch House! We've stayed here several times here and this is and will be our go to when we travel to Mason. The house is so roomy and comfortable and you can't beat the scenery. We always see lots of wildlife. Can't wait to be back on the Ranch!'

'Beautiful property in a secluded setting on a working ranch. As a surprise bonus, the owner supplied us with a dozen fresh eggs from their free range chickens. Yummy! The kitchen was outfitted with everything we needed, and there were plenty of big, thick, thirsty towels. Hubs forgot his charger, and the owner went above and beyond to mail it to us! We will definitely stay here again when we are in the area!'

'Even though you can tell this is an older property, it has been updated very thoughtfully and has all the amenities you could want. There were 5 of us and each of the three bedrooms had their own bathroom, which was very appreciated. Hot water showers wasn't an issue, even though we all showered in the evening. Worst hotel and manager ever!!!!
"Worst experience ever, this is not worthy of the name Best Western. I had booked 2 rooms for our group, but several insects were crawling in both rooms and a few were dead. Also the smell in the rooms was terrible. We had to cancel the rooms and still drove to a decent overnight stay in Austin. I then emailed the manager several times, but he was not cooperative at all. She kept pretending she didn't understand me via email and kept referring to Expedia. Conclusion: the hotel suits the manager. Both the worst experience ever!!!!"
