'I am constantly renting houses in Waco for visiting artists who teach at my store. This is one of my all time favorites- safe neighborhood, close to downtown but not in the rental village, beautifully furnished and comfortable, lovely courtyard. It’s a 10.'

Competition is tough so finding the right place can be like rolling the dice. Lindley's Little Gem exceeded my expectations! Cleanliness is very important to me. I'd give this a 10 out of 10! Although this is a small one-bedroom, one-bath older home (cottage), it has a large bathroom with a deep soaking tub, big walk-in shower, good thick towels...

'The house was very comfortable and inviting. Location was ideal for enjoying the River Walk and all the bronze sculptures. Easy access to Magnolia. Great backyard with grill and fire pit! The neighborhood is being restored. Highly recommend this home.'

'We enjoyed this spacious house in prime location to our event we attended in Waco. All of the well-sized bedrooms have their own full bathroom. Their is ample space in the living room, dining room and kitchen. The kitchen has everything needed to cook and serve, just bring your food and drinks! The large outdoor area in the back has seating, a deck and plenty of play space! We loved the gated back parking area. The hosts are very availabile and respond quickly. Thank you for an amazing stay!'

'Had some minor issues and had a wrong telephone number which complicated communication with the host However once they were aware they responded immediately. The house was lovely and we enjoyed the yard and pool in the evening…thank you Mark and Tiffany'

'This house was close to Lake Waco which was a great place to go and view the eclipse.'

'Peaceful country setting with lots of outdoor patio space. The kids loved the pool and we all loved visiting the sheep. Greate for families a short drive to Waco.'

'Two moms driving in from Central Texas for a campus tour of Baylor. We had a fantastic time. We played games and roasted s’mores by the fire. If our daughters choose the university, we will definitely be regulars at this house. Beds also very comfortable however, the sound of cars outside had me using my White Noise maker on my phone.'

'Cleanliness could have been stepped up. Kitchen cabinet doors were dirty, household trashcans dirty, under beds dirty, oven and broiler need cleaning. Things travelers need such as luggage stands, towels racks for the bathroom, extra toilet paper and paper towels should be standard items. The place met our needs although, they did not let us know it was not handicap friendly. Should have handicap bars in bathrooms and tubs should have non slip surfaces. Suggestions: Cutting board, colander...

'Clean and well kept older home that was in neighborhood with many college houses. Appreciated all the little amenities on the property - was very thoughtful and helpful. Would not recommend this place for young children- college party on Saturday night was very loud. The hosts of the party did politely come over to warn us but still disturbed our sleep for many hours.'

'Wonderful experience. Well stocked with coffee and wine so we were all happy campers. There were Rolly Polly bugs in green bathroom and front room also dining room. They didn’t eat much and were quiet but you may want to get sprayed. Thank you for having us.'

'This was the perfect little cabin. Away from the city but close enough to enjoy it all. The host was so sweet and offered an upgrade when another cabin became available. I cannot say enough about how amazing this little get away was. It is all thanks to staying here.'
