'We really enjoyed our family trip to Michigan. The location was perfect right on the water with easy access to the pontoon we rented with the house. Plenty of room for my family which includes myself, my husband, and our two teenagers. The beds were comfortable, couch was large and comfy as well. 'I think this was a really nice and quiet place. There were a lot of webs and dead bugs on the floor when we arrived but that wasn’t a huge deal we just cleaned them up. Other then that we loved it and would stay again.'

The hosts include thoughtful touches like spices, toiletries, fishing rods, laundry soap, etc., that aren't necessary certainly but that make for a welcoming stay. Donnell Lake is a quite busy little lake and wasn't our favorite for our quiet little paddleboards and sailboat, but we were also there over Labor Day, so it's probably not always quiet so busy.
