'This property was very clean and ready for us upon arrival. Basic necessities were provided. The surrounding neighborhood is not well taken care of, but we had no issues while staying.'

'A group of us gathered for a bit of a staycation from the Richmond area. We had a ladies night on Friday and we honestly couldn't have asked for a better location!! Saturday we had some other friends join us for food on the water and it was the most relaxing setting for us to reset and connect. 'Well stocked, beautifully decorated, home with a peek at the lake from a large deck. Kayak launch 3 min away with 2 provided. Short drive to lake Anna beach and grocery store.'

'I traveled with my husband and 4 kids (11-18). The house was clean and everyone had their own bed We had everything we needed during our stay. The location was great to go in several directions for different activities. The D-Day Memorial is a must-see in Bedford. We would stay here again if we come back to the area.'

'We spent a night here while attending a graduation at Liberty. Everything was fantastic. The rennovations are top notch, the proximity to everythhing was graet. Beds were comfy and we had a fantastic time. Definitely will stay here again when going back to Liberty events!'

'We have stayed here several times on spring break to celebrate our daughter’s birthday. Is the perfect dock for hanging out with friends and family, and the teens love the pool table and their own space downstairs, the adults love the big table upstairs to play cards. Owners have updated the main bathroom and the basement since we stayed there last, which is really nice.'

'Designed perfect for renting. We had 7 adults 5 children of ages 2-10. The layout of the home was perfect for us. Each family had the ability to spread out and have “space”. The basement is alone is perfectly designed as a seperate livable space. Property is quietly situated between two wood lines making for a private feel. Owner, Nick, wonderful to work with and responsive along the way!'

'This was a last minute booking. One snafu with Vacasa with them not being able to verify my ID via DL but with a quick phone call that was corrected. The home itself is nice and has plenty of space and amenities. The decibel reader is a little off-putting but I understand with VA laws being the way they are. Overall, it was a nice stay.'

'We rented this property for an extended family getaway. It was a great spot and beautiful home. This home offered a slew of activities for all to enjoy - the hot tub, the paddleboards, and the pool table. Although we couldn't partake in the pool or firepit because of the weather (too cool and windy), it was ready for us if we had the opportunity. Stores were about a 10 minute drive and easy to locate. 'Bill and Cynthia are such amazing hosts and the property inside and out exemplifies it. What a great place to stay for some serious rural R&R! The property was very clean. 'Our friends have been getting away once a year for the past 20 years and your home provided us with a relaxing and cozy home on the lake with beautiful views. There were some minor issues with breakers needing to be reset several times (primarily for the kitchen) and the breakers in the breaker box (behind the downstairs refrigerator) were not labeled. 'Many of us came into town for a graduation and stayed at DriftAway Ridge. It was absolutely the best decision. Everything was perfect and was the cherry on top of our weekend. Everyone wished we could’ve stayed one more day. From the beautiful lake, comfortable beds, great porch, large rooms, rec areas, large kitchen and multiple full bathrooms - what’s not to like. It is an amazing place and you will be happy you stayed here.'
