'This was the coolest place to throw party. We booked a band and gathered 35 of our nearest and dearest to celebrate my wifes 40th birthday. It could not have gone better. 18 bedrooms accommodated us perfectly. The property was beautiful and private. Every single person in attendance started to immediately find excuses for us to come back. Highly recommend!'

'Perfect stay. House was just as pictured. Clean and neat. Wonderful pool and sitting areas outside. Nicely finished and comfortable inside. Host was very fast to respond when needed for random questions and such. Would stay here again without hesitation.'

'Our stay with several family members ranging from young kids to seniors with walkers worked out great. The first floor bedroom and bathroom worked out great for the eldest and the rest of us had our own rooms and bathroom upstairs. Host was responsive and our stay was comfortable. Would recommend.'

'We loved staying in this beautiful old house! We enjoyed the character of the old house and the new updates! The bedrooms were beautifully decorated! We also enjoyed the game room. Only problem is that it is not handicap accessible. It would be nice if that was listed on the online description. We would highly recommend this house to others.'

'Our group of 9 (including 3 children) had a wonderful 3 night stay here during our trip to view the total solar eclipse. The downstairs was spacious and comfortable, and had ample seating for eating, lounging, etc. We appreciated the well-appointed kitchen and that there were extra supplies (paper towels, tissues, soap, etc) on hand. The tasteful inclusion of the history of the property and the town in photos, decor, etc was charming and helped us better appreciate the location. The host was...

'The house was immaculate. So clean and cozy. The coffee selection was impressive. We ate at Ashley’s pub about 6 minutes away then ordered pizza from there the next night. We made breakfast both mornings and the kitchen has everything you need. I feel so lucky to have found this place for our family getaway. Would love to visit again in the summer to try out the kayaks. Just book it!!'

'Beautiful, Clean, Comfortable, Spacious. Close to Allegheny College where we got to spend Senior Day with my Granddaughter. The perfect location for other adventures. 'This is an old country home. Not horrible, not ideal, at least for us. I see they've added "rustic" to the description. That's a good word. Pros: Stargazing - pretty dark at night. Beautiful skies. Area - we felt safe. No worries about being there alone at night. Nice area. Wildlife refuge nearby with hiking trails. If you have kids, you should know the house sits close to the road, which has a 45 mph speed limit. Would need to keep an eye on them. Bathroom - Large enough to feel comfortable....
