'Everything lived up to the description. Kitchen very well stocked with pans, cutlery and dishes. I appreciated some options for storage since those are often lacking in rental properties. I also appreciated the shampoo etc in the bathrooms. The best part is the deck and creek. I really appreciated that the porch is gated at both ends so I didn’t have to worry about my dog running off. 'We really enjoyed our stay and the kids loved the backyard area. The firepit was probably our favorite spot at the house. The owner was easy to get in contact with and responded promptly to a couple questions we had. Make sure you write down the door code before you get to the house. We didn’t and one of us had to drive down until we had phone service so we could pull up VRBO and access our reservation.'

'Stayed in home for a four day weekend just to get away. Like others have said there is no cell service at cabin with either Verizon or AT&T but you can turn WiFi calling on your phone and still make and receive phone calls and text messages. We loved having the creek right outside the door. My lab played in it every day. Overall cleanliness was good. Did have a couple of issues that addressed with the owner and she responded immediately. 'The Tapoco Lodge is absolutely beautiful and the staff was amazing. The cabin we stayed in felt like everything was antique but somehow still new. My only complaint was that Expedia allowed me to book it as a pet-friendly room when the actual room I chose wasn’t pet-friendly. The Tapoco honored the reservation anyway and took care of us. They were terrific. My wife is already asking if we can stay here again. '

'The ol' gun range cabin was nothing short of magical. The cabin its self was clean and nicely maintained. It has tons of character and is pretty cool. The hot tub was nice as well as the firepit area. If you are looking to disconnect and enjoy nature this is your place.'
