We were checking in and the woman at the counter was struggling to find us a room, meanwhile the gentleman in line behind us that was then getting checked in was told he had an amazing corner room with a view. Two of four elevators were working so it took a long time to get up to our room. After walking down the tired and worn out hallway, we walked into a dark, stale and stinky room the size of a walk in closet with a bathroom smaller than that of a cruise ship with a view of an ugly building next door. My daughter and I were in town for the NRA Show and paid inflated pricing for the room and decided to turn around and drive back to Michigan after a long day because the room was so unpleasant. I remember when the W used to care about guest experience, I guess those days are gone.
