'Enjoyed the stay with family and kids'

'My husband and I were meeting a couple of friends here for a get together. We had stayed in J W Lees hotel previously so anticipated it would be good. The entrance through the dining area was very attractive and welcoming. The staff were friendly and efficient throughout our stay. Our room was very spacious with plenty of hanging space. The bathroom was larger than average and the toiletries were good. We loved the water in glass bottles too. Very comfortable bed and lovely amd and clean.'

'Hidden jewel and great find. An older well-kept hotel. Modernized while keeping with the heritage of the hotel. A cozy lower-level pub. Great place to have a pint after a day of travel and shopping. The front door is a stone’s throw from the train station and castle wall. Around the corner is a small downtown loaded with shops and surrounded by castle walls. Great stop in northern Wales. '

'Kamer was prima , het ontbijt ook uitstekend. Maar dineren daar is echt niet aan te raden . Het eten is supersimpel , veel aardappel , weinig vlees , groenten te veel doorgekookt , kortom totaal niet lekker voor de Nederlandse gasten . '

'We had a very very nice stay of one night during our Welsh road trip. Very friendly staff. Everything very well organised even if it was very busy on the Saturday night. Good food for diner, excellent breakfast. If you are looking for a superb inn in original style and in a very nice place, this is it.'

'Staff were lovely. Food was Lovely. Room was clean. Bathroom was separate from the room. Not ideal for trips to the bathroom during the night. Bar noise from downstairs. Sofa bed was not big enough for 2 children. Very creamy bed. '

'Perfect gelegen langs een hoofdbaan die Snowdonia doorkruist en je dus makkelijk en snel naar alle plaatsen brengt. Kamers zijn zeer ruim en mooi, afgewerkt met ruwe stenen. Sanitair was perfect in orde. Airco is niet aanwezig, wat nadeel was. Ontbijt is goed maar bar-restaurant kon wel iets properder, gaf vuile indruk.'
