'This is everything you could want from a farm stay. Friendly, healthy animals and a property that has obviously been thoughtfully cultivated over the years. Our kids LOVED it. I rated it four stars instead of five because it is remote, so unless you're sticking to cycling or activities on the nearby South Fork of the New River, you'll be driving a bit to get anywhere. 'Overall I'm glad we picked this hotel. The staff at the hotel were super nice! The floor in our room was a bit squeaky, but we barely heard anything from the floor above us. The pool was a very comfortable temperature and the sauna felt good. They had a heavy snow early on the day we checked in, so we were glad to have a lower level to park in!'
