'Very friendly and clean place. Some downs sides is the soundproofing. I could hear all the doors closing and it echoes loud. The water pressure in our room wasnt good no matter the setting. The restaurant not being open is also a draw back, because there are not many options for food unless you want to drive a bit. All things considered i still had a nice time and will be back if or when they open the restaurant.'

'We stayed here to be able to attend our daughter's graduation from JMU. The cabin was super clean and had everything you could want while being away from home. We looked forward to coming back to the cabin each evening. Very peaceful and felt like we were in a tree house with all the trees in full leaf bloom. Very pretty area. 'I enjoyed the amenities very much at this property such as the kitchen utensils & spices, jacuzzi, laundry. We explored the Smoke Hole Cavern area and relaxed at the property. Great getaway spot! '

'My wife and I absolutely loved our 4-night stay at the Golden Ridge Cabin. This was the best thought-out vacation rental we have seen yet. The drawers/cabinets and switches were all clearly labeled. We brought our own cookware and whatnot but didn't use them because all kitchen gadgets and doodads were already present! The furniture was comfy and just right for the space. 'I loved this property! Very private, shady, even better than i thought it would be. The cabin was clean and tidy, nice size and even a dish washer! The large pavillion patio is a great space for relaxing. There is actually a small church there too! My dogs and I enjoyed the walking trail. My host Dennis was super nice, friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again, fall should be gorgeous!'
