'We had a wonderful time staying at Casa Tunki! We stayed in a private room and utilized the unisex shared bathroom. Our beds and linens were comfortable and there was enough space in our room to lay out our suitcases as we needed to repack. There was also housekeeping services who made the private room when we went out to explore (I didn’t know there was housekeeping service so this was a nice surprise). 'Ok you have to walk the stairs for this hostel but then you get to a typical backpacker hostal with a kitchen you can use, free mate de coca and a very helpful man at the desk. He speaks very good english as well. The rooms are small but have a great shower with hot water. They serve a simple but nice breakfast and on the roof you have a great view over Cuzco city.'

'When I arrived with a friend I was told that we didn't have a reservation after the woman thought I was the one who booked & cancelled the room. We walked inside to resolve this issue but the place was filled with dogs and excretes. The woman couldn't find our reservation even though I clearly had the confirmation from hotels.com. she was very rude when we tried to leave to find a cleaner hostel. A guy was just staring at us with strange looks from the couch. I would not recommend staying here...
