'Dan was super nice and accommodating. If you are looking for a 5 star hotel, look elsewhere. It you want a large, clean farmhouse, this place is for you. Being a working family farm, expect to see a tractor or two going in and out. We really enjoyed sitting on the wrap around porch with a book watching the cows. 'We came to do some biking in the area. I was concerned we had booked too far from Lanesboro, but it was perfect. The drive is beautiful from there Houston has a really nice bike trail, too! 'Highly recommend!!! This was our second time staying here - we absolutely adore this property! Truly a little piece of heaven in SE Minnesota! Our children love the freedom to run in the large yard + play on the swing set, while the adults relax on the swing or patio. The house is a farm house that has been brought back to life. 'This is a perfect little spot to enjoy all that Decorah and the surrounding area has to offer. It was just like home the minute we stepped in. There are stairs to go up to the apartment, from street side and alley side so be prepared for that. The parking spot in the back is an added bonus!'
