'What an AMAZING little oasis! We came up for a trail race at Yellow River State Forest, and we were in absolute awe of this space. We happened to see the northern lights by chance just hanging out with our friends that were staying at the property across the koi pond. We will absolutely be back!'

'The Pocket City Penthouse looked like a winner when we were hunting out a special place to stay for our anniversary -- and it turns out it was the jackpot! Truly, everything was perfect, from the beautifully appointed apartment and cook's kitchen, to the amazing views -- to the town of McGregor, itself. We loved the little stores and restaurants nearby (those that were open so early in the season), and the surroundings were perfect, the trains, the riverboats, and the green hills with Pikes...

'We were so excited to stay in this home because of the location and pictures. It did not disappoint. Beautiful home in prime location. Easy communication with the home owner and not one of us had a complaint. Plenty of parking for our 4 boats. If we planned on going back out to Wisconsin, we will be staying here!'

'There were four of us - all friends who really enjoy fly fishing the driftless region. Eric (owner) and his team were great to work with. There was a small issue with the hot tub and they called me ahead of time to give us the head's up. It resolved itself the next day. House is great and there is a large couch and chairs situated around the fireplace. Everything was real easy. Maybe a new coffee maker? :-). That one took about 20 mins to brew the coffee. We will be back. Thanks Eric!'

'We stayed at this beautiful property for our annual Girls Weekend (8 HS friends) The property and views were gorgeous. The home was large enough for us to gather for meals and games, and yet have space to ourselves. We loved spending time on the deck watching the birds, eagles and turkeys. Tge hot tub was a perfect way to end the day after shopping at Cranfest and Lansing IA. Unfortunately due to lack of rain, there was a burning ban on so we couldn’t use the fire pit. It’s hard to get 8...

'Our very first impression was amazing! When we stepped into the camper, it was very welcoming. The camper was beautifully decorated, and soft music was playing. It was a WOW moment!! Beautiful, Woodsy surroundings with the soft sound of a waterfall just a few feet away. A great fire pit setup with plenty of cut wood ready to go. It was wonderful to have the cooking items we needed for the stove and grill. It was very nice, not to have to pack bedding and bath towels. Everything was generously...

'This is a perfect little spot to enjoy all that Decorah and the surrounding area has to offer. It was just like home the minute we stepped in. There are stairs to go up to the apartment, from street side and alley side so be prepared for that. The parking spot in the back is an added bonus!'
