'Hotels in the UK can be a bit old or outdated, this is a good example. Don't get me wrong, the location is nice (Gold Hill is around the corner) and it's on a roundabout so you can't really miss it. But for nearly 200 euro, I have to say it's a bit overpriced. Yes it was high season and so on but still. Good things are, it's clean, it has a pool. Not so good, outdated a bit, it can get quite warm inside the room as there is no airco or fan in the room itself. Opening a window is good idea...

'Overall a good stay. Spoilt a little as we stayed previously and didn't have to pay for the pool etc. This time however we did as we booked through Expedia, although we tried to book direct there was no room availability. I think it should be as it says on the best western website,if your a resident then it's all included.'

'No complaints, friendly staff plenty of parking, we didn’t eat so can’t comment on the food. Lovely oldy worldly building which oozes character. Would definitely stay again. '

'Good stay. The room and bathroom were clean and the linen nice. However the room was compact and the limited storage was full of blankets and pillows. There was a portable suitcase stand but literally no where to put it. The biggest problem was being woken on the first morning by noise in the car park and the second morning by the noice from the shower in the next room, it was extremely loud. The staff were fantastic. Very friendly and helpful. '
