'This almost didn't happen because there was a storm that took the power out. But, fortunately, the power was on and we were able to have 2 nights there. It has so much character. It was clean and located close to the New River Gorge for us to commute back and forth. Tiffany was wonderful to communicate with us and she and Kevin gave a quick history lesson of the place.'

'The Sparrows Nest was very clean and comfortable! The owners were so accommodating as I have a health condition where I can’t be around heavy scents or perfumes. They went out of their way to wash the bedding with non scented laundry soap. And rinsed the floors with water to make sure there was no residual smells.They communicated with me prior to our stay to make sure it would be a safe pleasant place for me to stay. 'The house was clean. All appliances in good working order. Check in was easy. Owner easy to communicate with. She even checked in with me to make sure I got home okay. She was great to work with. Will stay there again, if I am in the New River Gorge are. Located close to attractions and out door events.'

'Great location for home basefor hiking and sight seeing. The area was cleaning up after a storm when we arrived. Power out at places, no wifi, but all was eventually restored. Take a book, as if wifi is out, there is no tv. Cell service very spotty. However the home has what you need for a nice stay. Relax and disconnect!'

'Very cute, comfortable, and well put together cottage. Supplied with everything needed and some appreciated extras . Perfect location for all our hiking adventures from the south end to the north end of the park. Just 15 minutes from Bridge. Highly recommend the Bridge Walk! Hope to be back to the area with some friends and will stay at this cottage again!'

'The house was in the center of the town and everything was very close. It is very convenient to New River Gorge and all the activities in the area. Access info was accurate and very easy. All communication with the host was timely and responsive. I recommend this house to anyone looking to explore the area.'
