'We had an amazing stay and took advantage of many of this homes’ amenities. Our group of 8 enjoyed card games at the huge dining table. We cooked meals using the outdoor kitchen and huge kitchen island. The kitchen had all the utensils we needed and lots more. The fire pit offered us a great night by the fire with s’mores. The home had everything we needed and we enjoyed our stay in beautiful Buchanan, Virginia! We spent time sitting on the outside porches listening to the sound of the brook.'

We arrived at the house to find everything clean and ready even though we were a couple hours early. The house is a century old so floors creak and some doors stick a bit. 'We needed a place for family to gather while coming and going from Lynchburg and Liberty University. The size of the home and the setting were great! We had plenty of elbow room and loved seeing the goats and donkey and a wonderful walk through the orchard. The drive into Lynchburg was easier than expected, but this location is definitely off the beaten path and meant once you get back to the house you stay. The bathroom needs some TLC and upkeep. 'This house was everything we could have asked for and more. The location was amazing. It was secluded at the foot of the mountains, which made for beautiful sunrises and sunsets. 'We travel all over the USA and this, by far, has been our absolute favorite stay. 'We are lifelong friends who get away together a few weekends a year to recharge, so we've rented a *lot* of houses. Serenity is one of the best - very quiet and peaceful location, excellent hot tub, well-stocked house in terms of kitchen as well as little touches here and there. The creek offers lots to do and watch (we saw beavers one evening!). We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation and have already made reservations to come back again!'
