WiFi was very strong and the home was fully furnished with everything we needed. We were even invited to pick fresh strawberries in the garden! We both really enjoyed ourselves and agreed when we have to do one more trip in VA we’ll be staying here again.'

'We are lifelong friends who get away together a few weekends a year to recharge, so we've rented a *lot* of houses. Serenity is one of the best - very quiet and peaceful location, excellent hot tub, well-stocked house in terms of kitchen as well as little touches here and there. The creek offers lots to do and watch (we saw beavers one evening!). We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation and have already made reservations to come back again!'

'This place was clean, confortable and perfect for our group, and the owners were incredibly helpful and kind to us - they were even better than the place. Two very minor downsides - it's a bit of a drive into Lexington (about 6 miles, and a slow drive on country roads) where our activities were, and the high windows let in light earlier in the morning than we wanted to wake. But those were minor to us. We'd stay here again, without question.'

'Beautiful rustic location on a mountain river. Everything provided for rafting, kayaking, or fishing—or just relaxing and enjoying the views. Perfect location for motorcycle riding the “Back Roads Discovery Route” with winding country roads and challenging Forest Service trails. Easy parking for our trailers. Fire pit to finish off the evenings with a campfire by the river. Great hosts with easy self check in.'

'Everything was just as shown in the pictures. We were attending college events in Lexington and this space was an easy drive to town. It was nice to be in the country and enjoy coffee in the screened in porch each morning before starting the day. We watched deer walk up the driveway and listened to the birds sing while we ate breakfast. Great views of sunrise over the hills from the other deck. We would definitely stay again.'

'The cabin was a great location for a graduation at Roanoke College. The fully stocked kitchen helped us have meals at the cabin instead of eating out. Everything was as advertised! We plan to come back again!'

'What a fantastically appointed cottage in serene Bath County! We came for a long weekend and were not disappointed. The house was thoughtfully curated and it’s clear that Dana and Tom are people who appreciate the details. We loved our time here, feeling cozy as we read, played games, and took shelter from some truly wide ranging spring mountain weather (hail, snow, rain and sun!). The location was perfect for jaunt over to the warm springs pools as well as lots of hiking. We highly recommend...

'What can I say other than, Magnifique! The cabin was beautifully furnished (sharp knives, fast internet, hot water, ample soap & linens) and a lover's oasis. The indoor fireplace and working hot tub w/ jets are the high selling points of the cabin. Wood interior throughout makes it feel warm and inviting. Kingsized bed is memory-foam soft.10 minutes from downtown Lexington, VA, you can easily get all essentials and cook up a fine meal. Cabin was clean, easy to locate, and worth returning to.'
