We were thankful for rainy weather because we did not want to leave! Thank you, Thank You, THANK YOU to the owners and host for preserving this iconic York County site and for the perfect place to have a mini-vacay with my girls!'

'I was looking for a romantic getaway for my hubby and I and all I can say is WOW, did I find it! We relaxed under a blanket on the oversized porch and drank our morning coffee while overlooking the endless river views. The house literally looks like an Italian villa. My favorites were the castle-like doors and heated marble floor in the bathroom! Josh was a great host and we appreciated the goodies he left for us. We will be back!!'

'The property is very remote, which is not sufficiently described in the ad. By this I mean NO CELL PHONE service within a 10 mile radius. There is NO WIFI service. Totally unsafe for BIPOC travelers and you will not be able to communicate with the outside world. Not as described at all and no accommoadation for the discrepancy between what is advertised and what is actually there'
