We were thankful for rainy weather because we did not want to leave! 'The Riverhouse was the perfect place for my solo getaway to take in all of what the area has to offer. There was much to enjoy on the property including the hot tub, huge deck, modern bathroom and kitchen with just about everything you can imagine, enormous TV in the family room, and convenient off-street parking. The views of the river were awe-inspiring and he sunsets are truly amazing. Josh was very responsive via both text and phone when needed. I would highly recommend staying here to...

'I was looking for a romantic getaway for my hubby and I and all I can say is WOW, did I find it! We relaxed under a blanket on the oversized porch and drank our morning coffee while overlooking the endless river views. The house literally looks like an Italian villa. My favorites were the castle-like doors and heated marble floor in the bathroom! Josh was a great host and we appreciated the goodies he left for us. We will be back!!'

'The area was beautiful and very quite! We loved the cabin we stayed in. While we did run into some minor issues, staff was VERY accommodating and attentive. We hope to come back and would love to stay on the grounds again. They love dogs and that made us feel more comfortable. The pool was awesome, as was the arcade room for our younger members of the group! '

'My friend & I loved staying at the Thaddeus Stevens House. The house was well stocked and very cozy. The location is perfect, within walking distance to the shops and restaurants.'
