'Cozy seaside cottage near harbor with excellent communication and recommendations from host. All of our needs and comforts were satisfied. We would most DEFINITELY stay again and recommend to family and friends! We enjoyed coastal walks, the wood stove/sitting room, BIG kitchen, back garden, and space for everyone. The Dory Bistro was excellent! And I especially liked the friendly staff at the Coco Tree and the yarn shop.'

'First time in Pittenweem. The flat was small but we didn’t need anything bigger. Space had been used carefully and was well furnished. When the wood burning stove got going it made for a cosy experience. Pleasant seafront area nearby and Anstruther is only half a mile or so away. St. Andrews is about 20 minutes by car. Well worth a short visit (three nights for us).'

'My wife and I absolutely loved spending the day reading and relaxing by the wood stove looking out over the fields, watching sunrises together. The check in process was easy, and everything was clean and extremely well maintained. The bed was fantastic to sleep on. We loved it so much we booked an extra night! It's a short drive to St. Andrews and a number of farm shops and other small towns. Well worth the stay!'

'We have been coming to this area once or twice a year for 23 years. My son and his family, live in the area. We are from the United States. We prefer the self catering rather than the bed and breakfast type places because we are jet lagged and tend to sleep in. We also don’t eat a large breakfast. 'We spent a great week in this lovely house. Communication from the owners was superb and they were welcoming and considerate - living next door they were on hand and supportive without ever intruding on our time or privacy. Wonderful selection of items in the kitchen and fridge to welcome us on arrival. Extraordinary views from the property. Good access to the local towns and area, and walks out of the door. The roads nearby are minor and require a little care, but nothing unusual. Brilliant...

'Been here the second time for holiday, we enjoyed it, had a walk in the woods, lovely to enjoy the silence here! 10-15 minute walk from Inverkeithing railway, good to manage without car. Was lovely to see you again, we would come back again :) Thanks for your loving welcome! We felt comfortable!'

'Beautiful, cosy, comfortable cottage, just minutes walking away from St Andrew’s city centre. And even though the weather was not fantastic, we made many long walks along the beautiful beach, alongside the famous golf courses. We had a great time.'

'Situated in a small village but very accessible by bus to all surrounding costal towns in the East Neuk of Fife. A cozy wee cottage with a private garden and dog friendly. All the residents are very friendly too. My only concern that is totally outwith the hosts control is the door opens to a narrow pavement where the village speed limit is 20 mph - that no-one adheres to!'

'We loved this location and thought the cottage was super cute. The fridge was dirty upon arrival and we messaged them via chat to let them know but they never messaged back, so we just cleaned it ourselves. The cottage is old which gives it character, but it could be cleaned better. There were many cobwebs and bugs in the cottage which wasn’t ideal. Overall, we would recommend the location but advise the owners to clean it better.'
