Spent a lot of time at porch bar watching mullet jumping and heron wading. Went to the Homosassa Wildlife State Park, ate at the Freezer and took a river ride on the Island Girl Cruise… highly recommend all. We had a wonderful time! 'We enjoyed our stay at this cute little cottage. It definitely had the feel of a family cottage where you might spend your summer vacation. Nothing fancy but comfortable, cute and homelike. I loved the colors it was decorated in and especially the "wall paper" in the bathroom. We had a great time. The hostess was very communicative and we had zero issues.'

'Although the weather was chilly for Florida. The afternoon sun warms the backyard and the dock was perfect for a couples outdoor dining. The fish were not biting but we counted 18 species of birds! Great getaway. The house is small but plenty of room to spread out and relax in the common area and the decor was spot on. Found a single serve coffee pot under the kitchen counter. Plenty of blankets and towels. The curtains were thin so adding blinds would be a good upgrade. Enjoyed our stay.'
