'I wish I could live here permanently. Old world charm with all current amenities. Perfect spot for a family reunion with its multiple wings with rooms and common areas. Great communication with the managers, they were so nice and helpful, making our stay that much more wonderful. Will definitely book again when we find ourselves visiting the area. 'Had a large group of friends get together for a 30th bday! Enjoyed all the activities, and the river was absolutely perfect! Tons of room for everyone in the cabins. You will have spotty phone signal but wifi is great. Who needs their phones anyway?! Slide is not for the faint of heart but we all went down it multiple times! Everyone is already asking to do it again next year. Thank you, John and Becky!!!'

'The place was great over all. The houses were clean and had everything that we needed. My kids loved the water and it was a great spot to sit and relax while others fished. Very nice people to deal with!! It was a pleasure!!'

Worst hotel and manager ever!!!!
"Worst experience ever, this is not worthy of the name Best Western. I had booked 2 rooms for our group, but several insects were crawling in both rooms and a few were dead. Also the smell in the rooms was terrible. We had to cancel the rooms and still drove to a decent overnight stay in Austin. I then emailed the manager several times, but he was not cooperative at all. She kept pretending she didn't understand me via email and kept referring to Expedia. Conclusion: the hotel suits the manager. Both the worst experience ever!!!!"
