'While the gentleman who checked us in at 11pm was awesome, the room was not. We needed a clean, simple, no frills room on the way down to FL. We chose this because of all the reviews. However, the room was gross. I've attached pictures. The mattress cover was disgusting with stains; the bathroom floor was dirty; and the shower curtain had black mold on it. I would not recommend staying here. '

'Convenient location for us to visit family and friends. Surprisingly many local businesses within minutes with various atmospheres & local flavors plus a fairly direct commute to local and HHI activities for both our young, local family members and their friends for easy meetups.'

'Lovely home & setting. Very peaceful. Lots of nice touches…snacks, popcorn machine, wood for outdoor fire & supplies for s’mores, breakfast foods available, etc. Owner very responsive, polite & easy to work with. Only complaint about the house was it needed a good deep cleaning. I’m sure it’s hard to accomplish this with the few hours they have between check out & check in. We did have issues with the listing on VRBO - when booked (almost a year ago) the listing did say events up to 50 people....

'Cozy, comfy and charming. Beautiful views of the marsh, changing with the tides. Nice community of cottages in a rural setting. Convenient to Beaufort, Port Royal, St. Helena Island, Parris Island, Bluffton, Hilton Head, Savannah and Edisto Island. Beautifully stocked kitchen with everything we needed and more! Wonderful host!'

'This home was perfect for our family of 8 to celebrate our daughters graduation from GA Southern in Savannah- plenty of space for us all to be together or to find a quiet spot alone. Julie was very responsive and helpful- we had a toilet that was running and she had someone out to fix it in just a few hours. We will back in 2 years when she graduates with her masters!'
