'We stayed for a long weekend to view the Total Solar Eclipse. House was immaculately clean and orderly. Heat worked great! We brought groceries and had everything we needed at the house to make all meals. Loved the dining table in the front room with the wonderful view of the lake. 'The area is scenic, just beautiful. Cottage is well maintained and pretty. Furniture is comfy, and little details are attended to. It's a busy area but the backyard is private. I've stayed in cottages where they didn't have salt and pepper, or any hand soap. This place had a selection of spices, soap in each bathroom, all the towels. Even some shampoo and conditioner! Rachael was easy to talk to and responsive to inquiries. Highly recommend 😀'

'My family and I stayed in Honeoye for our daughter’s college graduation. We absolutely loved the house. Huge open floor plan in the kitchen/ living area. The owner has gone to great lengths to have pretty much everything needed to stay. Wegmans and Walmart are about 14 miles away from the home. There are places you can go out to eat or stay in and cook. We definitely recommend!'

'This is a wonderful property with a beautiful view of Silver Lake. Great sunsets. A confortable house and very comfortable beds with everything we needed to make our stay very enjoyable. The owner provided great products in the barhrooms that helped to make it feel like a spa experience. Also very close to Letchworth State Park, a not to miss experince for hiking and breathtaking views.'

'The problem is that the property is physically small, it's short. Not a problem for most people, but being 6' 3", I was hitting my head on a lot of stuff, and hunching most the time I was in the cabin. The cabin is very cozy, it all takes a bit to get used to, but once you do, it is a great small place to stay in. It would be best to get there early to get the heat figured out, if you need to do that. There are a lot of amenities to make sure everything goes smoothly and to pass the time...

'A unique experience. The view from the verandah was lovely, and the perfect place to sit with a glass of wine and enjoy the end of a busy day of hiking. It accomodated our extended family if 11. The pool was refreshing but not heated. The owner gave a behind the scene tour of the rooms not opened for guests. He was a font of historical knowledge.'
